FAQ

Support for reactions?

I am convinced that is completely stupid thing for people who are not capable of text writing, but poking into icons and emojis outside terminals.

Support for threading?

Currently I am not sure, but definitely if anybody is going to discuss something threadable, then he is plainly wrong about the platform. Email is much more convenient in all that kind of stuff. IM is for real-time short-living chatters. Email is for discussion and for something that can be valuable in the future. Let’s stop competing for the most unusable yet another bicycle and use piles of already written mature software, that includes dozens of years of professional user experience.

Support for channel creation/deletion/invitations?

For years I have never met any reason to create own separate channel on MM. Actually hardly I have ever seen when all those IMs can be useful on work, except for brief jabbers and immediate notifications. So why bother?

Support for polls?

What next bizarre thing people will put into IMs? Only Interactive Fiction games inside IM could change my mind. Just kidding of course.

Dynamic updating of appearing users/channels?

Restart the client. That is so rare, that spent time is not worth of it.
